Circular Bootcamp

The TRANSUNIV Interreg project launches the 3rd edition of the Innovation Brainstorm and Bootcamp. This year's topic is Circular Economy. The goal of this “Circular Bootcamp” is to set up concrete collaborations between universities, companies and public or private institutions in the region Flanders-Wallonia-France.

The Circular Bootcamp takes place in 2 phases: the brainstorm in October and the actual bootcamp in December.

On 26 October, during the brainstorm at Hangar K in Kortrijk (Courtrai), senior researchers and professors from the 6 partner universities and some socio-economic actors will exchange ideas to transform the needs of the circular economy into concrete societal challenges that will be solved during the bootcamp.

Are you a senior researcher or professor from one of the 6 partner universities? Do you want to setup new projects or put your research into practice with companies and/or other universities?

Register for the brainstorm!

From 9 to 11 December, we organise the actual bootcamp where a group of 30 PhDs will work on the challenges, identified during the brainstorm, together with interested companies and non-profit organisations.

We will apply design thinking and business modeling in order to put research into practice!

Are you interested to meet other researchers or network with companies? Do you want to explore the circular economy and see how your research fits in? Do you want to find opportunities for a research project or maybe even a start-up?

Register for the bootcamp of 9-11 December!

The Interreg project TRANSUNIV unites 6 universities: KULeuven Campus Kulak Kortrijk, UCLouvain FUCaM Mons, UGent, ULille, UMONS, and UNamur. The brainstorm and the bootcamp will be moderated by Peter Bertels of Norsu BV.
